Our SUN*MED canned Asparagus Spears come straight from Peru. Only young Asparagus Spears are eaten and their flavor is delicate. They are full of vitamins that will give you a boost of energy. They are a good source of Dietary Fiber, Iron, Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc, Vitamin B6, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C.
Our Asparagus Spears can be used directly from the tin. They can be prepared as an appetizer, a vegetable side dish or tossed with pasta. Asparagus is often used as an ingredient in stews and soups. It can also be grilled, oven-roasted, or stir-fried with chicken, shrimps or beef.
